Shipping & Returns

Delivery of all items to the local area (LA postcodes, i.e. South Lakes and North Lancashire area) is free of charge. For major appliances we use our own delivery service and a courier for small appliances.

One of our sales team or carrier will contact you within 48 hours (but usually on the day) of placing your order with a delivery date. The delivery service does not include installation of the product or removal of the old appliance. For local (LA area) deliveries we can remove an old like for like appliance (except refrigeration) provided it is diconnected and available at the time of delivery. Please specify that you require it removing in the Delivery instructions' when checking out.

Other ways that you can dispose of your old appliance include by taking it to a designated collection facility (commonly known as a 'tip'), free of charge - details of your nearest facility are available at www.recycle-more.co.uk or alternatively your local authority will collect it from your home (although they may charge for this). If your appliance is in working order or repairable then charities that help disadvantaged families such as furniture matters are well worth contacting

Delivery to all other areas is £19.95 (for major appliances e.g. washers, fridges etc) and is free for small appliances (e.g. Vacuum cleaners, microwaves etc.) There is no further charge for additional items. If multiple items are ordered the higher charge shall apply.

Delivery is to mainland UK only (excluding Scottish highlands). We will endeavor to deliver goods within 2-5 days on small appliances and 2-7 days on major appliances, but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for the delivery of the goods.

Deliveries are booked on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe and prompt delivery of the product. Deliveries are to ground floor premises by one person only. Any special requirements should be notified to us at the point of ordering. However, for local LA postcode delivery we can use a two man delivery at no extra cost, provided we are notified at the time of ordering which allows us to deliver to flats etc.

We require you to sign a delivery note on receipt of the goods. Local deliveries are direct from our own premises but to all other areas will be direct from the manufacturer / supplier.

We reserve the right to charge £40 for re-delivery if you are not present at the agreed original delivery date. Please ensure that you thoroughly inspect your goods for any Cosmetic damage, incorrect goods, missing parts or other problems as soon as you receive them, if this is done after delivery has taken place then please see the time limitations below.

Time Limit for Notification of Damage
If your goods arrive in a damaged condition, you must inform The Company in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Notification can be posted to Clocktower Electrics, Low Wood, Haverthwaite, Ulverston, Cumbria, LA12 8LY or faxed to our dedicated fax line 015395 30501. Alternately you can e-mail the Customer Services Department on customerservices@clocktowerelectrics.co.uk The Customer Services Department will arrange collection of these goods and will replace the goods at no charge or refund any monies paid for the goods. If no fault or damage is found on the goods then you will be charged the ACTUAL COST of collecting the item because we subsidise our delivery cost when we initially deliver the item to you
IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THE ABOVE ACTION REQUIRED THEN WE SHALL ACCEPT NO LIABILITY FOR GOODS SAID TO BE DAMAGED ON DELIVERY.
